PCR testing for RNA coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). PCR testing for RNA coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) gives a high-precision result at the first sign of disease and is designed to diagnose a virus in an active stage. The analysis is performed using a biomaterial from human mucosa. A swab is taken from the oropharynx by a medical officer using disposable consumables. After this presence or absence of a virus in a human body is determined using a method of polymerase chain reaction. This is a qualitative analysis for detection of RNA coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Results meet all requirements: with QR code and date of sampling. All results of PCR tests are transferred to EMIAS. Suitable for traveling. Certificate in English is available upon request. Preparation to the test: No food 2 to 3 hours before testing. No smoking 30 minutes before testing. No alcohol 24 hours before testing. No antiseptics for throat and nose 4 hours before testing. * Procedure of the VMI Policy obtaining and receiving of services:
- Send your request for a VMI Policy (Program and the amount of Insurance premium) together with copy of your documents (passport, visa, migration card, registration, telephone number) to expat@lexgarant.ru
- After receipt of confirmation from the insurance company you may pay for the VMI policy online using a link you will get on your e-mail address or offline in our office.
- The policy is valid within 1 (one) month.
- Pre-appointment is desirable. It is required to visit the medical centre in person at least twice. Make sure that during the visit you have the identification document and the insurance policy of LEXGARANT. On the first visit: medical tests, diagnostic study, appointments with medical specialists (if required). On the second visit (2-3 days later): appointment with a general practitioner, receipt of a completed certificate.
- Preparation to the CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) TEST, determination of RNA (qualitative) – nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab:
- No alcohol 24 hours before the swab.
- Don’t rinse your mouth with disinfectant solutions 4 hours before the oropharyngeal swab.
- Don’t dissolve antiseptic pills 4 hours before the oropharyngeal swab.
- No food 1 hour before the swab.
- No smoking 1 hour before the swab.
- Don’t brush your teeth.
- No medicines 4 hours before the swab.
- No oil based nasal drops or sprays on the day of the swab.
- No other nasal drops or sprays 1 hour before the swab.
- Free your nose from excess nasal discharge 1 hour before the biomaterial taking.
